Son., and $10.000 fire insurance through the office of Jay 0. Richards, beginning; at noon on wept. 20, 1923, for a term of five years, schedule form. It was voted to renew with Elmer A. Lord & Co. policy ;#4815986 for $20,000, fire insurance expiring September 22, 1923, also to ' renew with nrthur ". Ryder came before the Board for information in regard to lay out, made by the Board of Survey, of the 100 ft, strip ' of lanai from 14aes. nve. to 'Vine Brook =gid. He wished to know if the town was going to take a taking of this land by the brook, as they had an opportunity to develop part of thio tract of land by the erection of two houses. He also said hie company had lowered and cleaned Vine Brook where it flowed throuv,,h thio property, but the water was held back by that part of the brook between !,:ase. Ave. and 6herman St. which ehould be cleaned out, enlarged and lowered. 'ThP Board agreed to place articles covering these two subjects in the. 'Warrant for the next town meeting. W_r. ni,Tder said he would prepare the articles in conjunction with fir. Harrison. The Board authorized a temporary revenue loan of $75.000 maturing Feb. 15, 1923, and requested the 'Treasurer to procure bids for the same. fir. narrison read a letter from William .
