M1NUTdS Minutes of the meeting of October 2, 1975 , were corrected to

CURRES; UNULi%CE Mrs. Litchfield has received confirmation from the
Selectmen thet they will participate in Veterans Day ceremonies; Chmn.
Kenney will read the Governor's proclamation.
A letter from Major Rhodes, thanking the ICC for its invitation to
participate in Veterans Day, noted that, because of the many invita-
tions sent to llt,nscom Field asking for unit participation by towns in
the area during the Bicentennial Year, it would not be eossible to
schedule more than one appearance in any of the towns and therefore,
he must express regrets and decline the invitation, since a marching
unit from llunscom partici; aced in Patriots Day ceremonies. Vice-Chmn.
Gaughan had transmitted the same message to the committee on Lehulf of
Chmn Burnes.
Mrs. Litchfield has also cont..cted the various individuals and
org:.nizations from Louisiana who have written to the 'ICC and Chamber
of Commerce-- all are part of a single group of 87 boys and girls from
the John l!.hret high School, that group to which the TCC invit, tion to
participate -as issued.
PATRIOTS DAY: It was moved, second.ed,asi'i' voted unanimously that the
TCC hes no objection to the Minutemen' s being a wart of the 1976
Pttriots Pay observations in planning to schedule a reenactment of
the Battle of Lexington. Details of scheduling will be eiscussed as
plans Lor the entire weekend are made latpr this year.
The Committee also agreed that Principal Lorne MacArt.tur of
the Kennedy Jr. high School of ' altham should be .o\formed that the
TUC will be delighted to consider having a group from the school ..s
l:articiants in the parade: proper forms will be sent later.
Mrs. Litchfield will give a similar answer to the director of a
14 ) piece marching band from Bernardsville, New Jersey; however, it
was noted that ti ere would be no fik di, available (other than a
possible bare token amount) to subside expenses of groups coming from
distances. It was agreed, however, that the 'ICC hough begin to vestigate possible coordination arrangements for lousing, especially in-

Final parade roster for Veterans Day will be completed on October 23
