MINUTES The minutes of January 9 were approved With the following changes
Addition The minutes of the meeting of January 2, 1975, were
approved. The corrected minutes of December 19 were also approved and
copies will be distributed.
Correction Under Parade Organization: Mr. Flynn volunteered
to contact 4 particularly- ostste.nding area musical units in regard to
their interest in appeaxi.n at a, reduced fee„
CORRESPONDENCE Mr. Brenthick reported that he now has six completed
float applications. He will be writing to other groups which have ex-
pressed preliminary into est to remind them of the application deadline
POST YARADE RECEPTION The joint committee has not met, according to
Mr. Gaughan; however, b has been in the _process of discussing further
arrangements necessary should the TCC decide to hold this at the Minute
Man School
APPOINTMENT Chmn B' rhes announced that Mr Edward Turner had been
appointed by the Sole tmento fill the vacancy created by the resignation
of Mr Penske from tta 'TCC
YOUTH ACTIVITIES M s. Mitchell has contacted. Mr Lords 'ho has agreed
to initiate arranger ants with high school groups who may wish to conduct
food sales in the p+ ade assembly area He will also handle requests for
building custodian, on behalf of the TCC. He is willing to help orient
student staff for t e morning parade, and expressed complete confidence
in the quality' of tie student leadership There was general TOC agreement,
therefore, that tht morning youth parade should again be staffed by students
with help from Mr. Lord and .organizational help from the TCC Mrs Mitchell
will contact Mr Ind.
MAICHING UNITS x Flynn reported that, in speaking with a representative
of St. Agnes of I lington, he was told that this grout, planned to host a
guest bc,nd from ennsylvania during the Bicentennial If St Agnes should
be chosen. to aptar in Lexington, they questioned the possibility of our
extending this i vittstion to their guests, who would appear at no fee.

OTHER MEETINGS Chmn. Barnes reported briefly on two recent meetings
regarding publi health matters daring the Bicentennial which he attented.
He also noted 410 next scheduled' JSBCC meeting It addition, he said
that the TCC meting scheduled for January 30 regarding the Midnight Ride
and the Battleileenactment would preclude the possibility of a joint
TCC-LBO meet .r ; at that time
