,.1NUTES of the meeting of October 23, 1975 were approved
CORRES CNUENCE the Minutemen have been given a verbal res,.on:e to
their letter regarding TCC inventions for bolding a reenactment in
19x6 ; Mrs Litchfield wili write to inform them of tete TCC vote
VETERANS DAY; All arrangements are complete; Mrs, Litchfield will
confirm the fact that Cary Hall will be used it case of rain with the
office of the Town Manager to be certain that seating arrangements
are adequate and that n custodian will be on duty. There are no
pleas to entertain our speaker following the ceremonies, especially
since the VFb may wish to honor him.
PATRIOTS DAY Mr. Flynn presented his draft version of the form and
covering letter to be sent to units which indicate interest in parade
narticieution and comments were made by the TCC. It was agreed that,
pending a,.ointment of a Chief Marshal, it would be well to postpone
sending such forms since the Chief Marshal might well wish to have
res5 oases sent td him directly The committee agreed upon the name
of an excellent prospect for this app6intment and Chinn Barnes will
contact him regarding his availability for service. The Chief Marshal
may also wish to be res )onsible for Concord-Lexington coordination,
It was greed that Mrs. Litchfield should write to Hanscom
field and request participation by a marching unit in the 1976
parade. It was also agreed that provision for additional military.
units would be desirable, especially if the funding for expenses of
these units could be carried on last year. 's Leslie-

OTHER BUSINESS Mrs, Mitchell re. orted that she bud s eat about 12
hours working on TGC files ; she also mut with Mre Coccoluto, former
secretary to Bicentennial Director Tarlin and is now familiar with
the LBC files. Mrs !Mitchell also commented that there was much more
work to be done, and suggested that this work exceeded that which might
normally be handled on a. volunteer basis. It was agreed that this

should be placed u; on the agenda fora- joint LBC—TCC meeting, since the
1976--77 Town budget is now being ereeared Mrs. Litchfield will w ite
to Chinn Cole of the LBC to reque- t a joint meeting to be held on. Nov.

Chinn. Burnes read a letter from the Town Manager regarding
additional information about meetiragc which the Town Manager was
hell ing present to the public through the ,,ress; Mrs Litchfield will
