MINUTES of the MINUTEMAN REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
COMMITTEE April 16, 1974
PRESENT Mmes Smith and Wales; Messrs Bilodeau, Cormier, Hall ,
Heinrich, Merluzzo and Morse
ABSENT Messrs Courtright, Cron, Fitzgerald and Kelsey

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8 25 p m
Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as written
The Treasurer reported a balance of $18,141 85 in the regular budget account
and $6,293 36 in the construction account Part of the reimbursement for
construction has been received by the Treasurer The committee voted unani-
mously to transfer these construction funds awarded to the District under
the education amendments of 1972, in the amount of $89,784, to the con-
struction account The committee voted unanimously that the sum of $1000 �
be transferred to the in-state travel account from available budget funds
On the recommendation of the Budget Review Subcommittee, the committee voted
unanimously to reclassify the salary range for the position of Assistant
Superintendent to $18,000 - $24,000 Also on the recommendation of this
subcommittee, the committee voted to reclassify the salary for the position
of Treasurer to $1800 annually, from April to April

The consensus of the committee on a memorial at Minuteman for Vernon Page
was to stay within the outlines of the committee policy on prizes, awards,
and scholarships
The committee voted unanimously to sign a letter of intent to enter into
a contract with LKB, Inc to perform services in connection with bus
transportation
The committee voted unanimously to formally reject all proposals sub-

mitted in response to the request for proposals submitted on
November 16, 1973 At the same time, the vendors will be notified
that Minuteman will advertise for new proposals in response to revised
specifications which are expected to be available on or about May 1
The meeting was adjourned at 10 50 p m , to be reconvened in execu-
tive session
In executive session the Building Subcommittee was authorized to consult
legal counsel about proceeding to sell the Platt house
