b.r. henrich of Drew Avenue came before the Board and called
attention to the condition of bow Street. he argued that more
work had been done on cylvia Street than on Bow Street.
The Board agreed to request the Superintendent of Streets
to look over the street .
Mr. henrich also called attention to the fact that the
promise of the Board to survey the streets in the section in
which he lived was not as yet fulfilled.
A junk license was granted to Barney Rodman of 54 Portsmouth
St , Cambridge .
A junk license was also granted to Jacob Bornstein of
12 Dass . Ave . Lexington.
Ddwin B 4+orthen was authorized to renew policy for $6000 ,
on Blanket Policy expiring September 9th.
The Lexington &as Co. was granted permission to excavate on
Parker St. at #24 for the purpose of installing gas service.
£he Board decided to draw another warrant for a Town Meeting
to be held Sept. 19 , 1922 . so that a transfer may be made of
funds for the highway Department.
A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was called for
September 12 , at 8 P . L.
Mr. Duffy reported that Mr. Ribok wanted to build a buck head
under the sidewalk in the new black which ie being built on Mass.
Ave .
The matter was talked over and -r. lhzffy requested to see
what other towns do in regard to same.
Mr. Ribok also requested that a curbing be placed around the
sidewalk in front of his building.
The board agreed to do the same provided he would pay two
thirdeof the cost and the town one third.
kr . Duffy reported that he consulted with L-r . Aquaro in re-
ference to giving the grade of Arcadia and +iileon Avenues and that
the people in that section were not ready to do the work or agree
on matters. there is therefor nothing further he can do until
the people agree to work together.
It was voted to allow the proprietor of "aildacre" to have signs
placed on -Lie street signs at Percy Road and Bloomfield Street. '
