It has ' been left without a roof for some time and it was decided to call the attention of the Building Inspector to it so that he might compel the owner to comply with the building laws by putting on a fire proof roof or demolish the building. Flynn who is building a new house on Fattler Avenue asked to have an extension of about 180 feet of water pipe laid on Taft Avenue so that he could have the water for use in building his cement house. The 3oard informed him that they could not make any extension: owing to the fact that it is a private way, and that the only thing that could be done was to have an article inserted in the next warrant for a Town iv.eeting. Mr. Flynn thought that it was rather unfair to hold him up on his house any longer, as he had been promised some time ago that a new scheme would be tried whereby water could be Fiven to persons in circumstances similar to This. ,r. Burnham suggested that I.:r. Beaudry tap in on the pipe and lay some pipe across lots so that P.r. r'lynn could get water ' for use in building his house; the came to be used only until such time as the Tolyn decided to put the 180 feet extension on Taft Avenue. This was agreeable to Lr. Flynn and he agreed to pay the cost of labor of laying the pipe. 1,r. Cotton suggested that the warrant for the Town Meet- ing in which articles for laying water pipes could be inserted ' could be sent out with the warrant for the primary, thereby hurrying matters along somewhat. IIr. Hellman informed the Board that he had bought more lots in that section and intended to build on the same and requested that the Board extend the water pipes. The Board in- formed him that they could do nothing until an article was in- certed in the warrant and until the By -Laws of the Town had been approved or aisapproved by the Dietrict Attorney.
