the family picnic and band concert at Parket Field, and the bonfire at
dusk on the Hayden property Arrangements for the musical presentation
were not finalized; however, it was agreed that if LBC Chmn Cole could
make suitable arrangements with St William' s Band of Dorchester, that
group would be a fine addition to the afternoon, and their probable
expenses would be within the budget allowed for the day The committee
voted that Chmn Cole should issue the invitation; that the Lexington
Minute Men should receive an honorarium for again highlighting the formal
portion of a Lexington celebration, and that Chmn Barnes should be
authorized to purchase a new microphone for the public address equipment
owned by the TCC and used on all ceremonial occasions
All other arrangements were reviewed, including those for the bonfire , for
the bell ringing and for reading of the Governor ' s Proclamation and a
