Business - T C C to contact Chamber of Commerce , requesting permission to
use Sponsors for Parade Letter to Chamber about above by
Karen Gaughan
T C C. agreed to go outside Town for floats - and all floats were
eligible for competition
T C C selected Lex Minute Men to represent Lex in 350th Boston
anniversary
M.M. need new Lex. flag with Seal T C C suggested we approach
B 0 S to forward to M.M money for Lex flag
Correspondence -
Letter rec'd from Chrm B 0 S Mrs. Miley thanking T C.0 for their
conscientious dedication to the Town
Chrm Fitzgerald talked to Brig General Chapman They are to pro-
vide 200 (?) British Colonials for our parade
Paul Jenkins to contact Boy Scout council and local B S Troops,
if they are interested in Fiske Hill Ceremony 4 p.m. Sat. 4119/80.
T C C to meet with Historical Society r e 200th Anniversary of
Constitution
Parade - Theme = 1980, A New Decade for Democracy Karen Gaughan to send letter
to B 0 S and Town Mgr announcing theme as selected by T.C.0
T C C must operate on last years Budget $7,000.
$5,000 Budget for Marching units
Discussed Antique Cars - Jerry Hagerty to investigate possibility
Bands to be instructed to play from Woburn St. thru Ctre and by re-
viewing stands Signs will be posted

Bristol, R.I Police Drill Team
Hudson, Mass Jr and Senior Bands
Church Bells - Paul Jenkins Will be handled by Rev Handley and
Chrm, Historical Society
