Appointments Made:
Meeting Times: One evening every other week(day to be determined)
Description: To evaluate the Design Partnership Lexington Public School Master Plan, validate
the recommendations, identify options for addressing the issues, and make a Final Report
including recommendations, to the School Committee.
The work of the Ad Hoc Facilities Committee will include,but not be limited to:
1 Review the Design Partnership Master Plan and it's recommendations;
2. Assess the impact of the deficiencies identified in the Master Plan on the educational
process and then prioritize the recommendations;
3 Propose options for addressing the deficiencies, including timing;
4 Make a Final Report to the School Committee.
Criteria for Membership: The Task Force members shall consist of citizens, with sufficient
background to understand facility assessments and the impact of facilities on the education
process.
Composition: Selectmen(2), PBC (3) and School Committee citizen s appointments (up to 3).
The Superintendent of Schools, Director of Public Facilities, and Public Facilities Project
Manager will provide staff support. The Capital Expenditure Committee and Appropriation
Committee shall appoint liaisons as non-voting members.
