Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday, November 9, 2017
Members Present: Will Thomas, Jack Mitchell, Lucas DiCerbo, Anthony Marbardy, Deb
Hankins, Sean Maloney, Jimmy Lane, Meghan Buschini, Emma Donigan, Patrick Kridarahkorn,
Rachel Harvey, Joe Hankins, Avery Gehring, Venuri DeSilva, Ganga Nair,Nicholas
Newton-Chen, Courtney Campbell, Ishaan Khurana,Nachiyappan Solaiyappan, Millie Landis,
Maria Schapfel, Cate Swan, Michael Swift, Zoe Toulmin, Annika Richter, Myles Cutler, Katie
Devine, Rebecca Wilkinson,Courtney Walsh, Katherine Gehring, Charles Marbardy, Mehr
Khurana, and Kristina Hankins.
Members Absent: Bess Lawrence, Erin Cesmeli, Hadar Boker, Annie Reilly, Shannon De
Guglielmo, Karen Duperey, and James Athens.
1. The minutes from October were read and approved.
2. We discussed the halloween balloon event, we all agreed that it went very smoothly and
quickly.
3. We started our discussion of our Holiday fundraising events for kids in need. Our goal is
to raise $2500 this year so we need everyone to come to the times they signed up for. If
there is any issue with a time you signed up for please contact your team leader, Will,
Jack, or Bess ASAP. If you were not at the meeting please reach out to Jack or Will to let
them know if you can attend any of the fundraising times.
Friday 11/24 (Tree Lighting) Meet behind Brookline Bank at 5:15pm - Jimmy,
Cate, Patrick, Anthony, Katie, Lucas, Annika, Ganga, Venuri, Charles, Katherine, Emma, Hadar,
Courtney Campbell, Meghan, Mike, Courtney Walsh, Will, Jack, and Nick. Adults Deb, Karen,
and Shannon
Saturday 11/25, Cary Hall from 6:30pm-7:30pm - Cate, Patrick, Jimmy, Millie,
Katie, Will, Jack. Adult Karen
Friday 12/1, Cary Hall from 3:OOpm-4:OOpm - Rachel, Zoe, Ganga, Venuri,

4. We discussed the Turkey drive event scheduled for Wednesday,November 22nd at
3:30pm. We will meet at the C&W Bus Yard, 240 Bedford St. Those who've said they
can DRIVE are Jack, Courtney Walsh, Emma, Lucas, and Nick. Those who've said they
can attend are Rachel, Zoe, Patrick, Anthony, Katie, Annika, Ganga, Katherine,Nachi,
Millie, Courtney Campbell, Mike, Ishaan, and Hadar.
5. We finalized our t-shirt design and collected sizes. We will have more information about
the t-shirts at the next meeting.
6. We talked about any changes additions that members would like to make to our meetings
or events. None were raised but all members should feel free to raise any at future
meetings. Also, we asked that members begin to think about whether we want to build a
float for the Patriots Day parade this year or if we'd rather use a wagon or similar to pass
out flags.
The next meeting will be Thursday, December 14th 7:00 pm at the Community Center
