Age-Friendly Designation schedule • First half hour will be a gathering. • Tw AARP representatives will attend and one will speak. Anton and new president. • Suzie B. and Jill H. will attend and want to say a few words. • Kelly A. will be there. • Unsure about Jim M. • Christine D. will attend. Some HS will, as well. No state reps can come. • We should briefly address -COA and HS and the process we have taken. What we have done to date, and with the designation,what we will continue to pursue. Aging in Place Resource Fair: • Christine D. will come to the next working group meeting to discuss the fair. • Police, Fire, Health, Library—any town organizations will be invited first. • We will see how many tables can fit. • Consider town organizations in the rotunda. • If it is a nice evening,tent is an option. • Need to inform the museum whenever we have an event. • 9/25—Burlington Fair Safety and Wellness • Marketing—want to keep SB and town apprised. • Museum has a health fair in the fall, all non profits, October 1St 10-1 including lunch, speaker and vaccines. • FOCA—want to participate? They would need to decide what they want to do and if it involves fundraising,they need to find out the parameters from Town Counsel. • Lexington Housing Authority should absolutely be included, as it is independent living/aging in place.
