COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
Executive Session
Room G-15, Town Office Building
Thursday, January 31, 2008
4:00 p.m.
Present:
Betsey Weiss, Chair; Norm Cohen, Marilyn Fenollosa, Wendy Manz, Leo McSweeney,
Richard Pagett, Judy Pearson, Sandy Shaw, Dick Wolk. David Kanter and Charles Lamb, on behalf of
the Capital Expenditures Committee, as well as Deborah Brown and Alan Levine, on behalf of the
Appropriation Committee, were also present.
Absent:
Joel Adler
At 5:20 p.m. a motion was made and supported unanimously by roll call vote for the Community
Preservation Committee to go into Executive Session with no intent to return to open session. The
purpose of the Executive Session was to discuss potential land acquisition negotiations. The four non-
CPC members in attendance were invited to join this Executive Session. Discussion was as follows:
ARTICLE 10 Land Purchase – Off Marrett Road
ARTICLE 11 Land Purchase – Off Hartwell Avenue
ARTICLE 12 Land Purchase – Off Lowell Street
ARTICLE 13 Land Purchase – Off Cedar Street and Off Hartwell Avenue
Following this discussion, a motion was made and supported unanimously by roll call vote to go out of
Executive Session and to adjourn at 6:00 p.m.
