BRIEF REVIEW OF THE LCC COMMENTS ON THE DESIGN GUIDELINES BY DIXON;
GENERAL DISCUSSION REGARDING GUIDELINES BY MEMBERS
REVIEW OF LIGHTING SUB-COMMITTEE BY DON OLSON AND SUGGESTIONS FOR
FUTURE AND
1 ) IN THE FUTURE THERE WILL BE A TOUR OF THE CENTER WITH THE
GROUP FOR NIGHT OBSERVATIONS
2) SUGGESTED INVENTORY OF LIGHTS, LAMPS, MASTS ( POLES) AND
COLOR OTHER MISC ITEMS WILL BE INCLUDED
3 ) GENERAL DISCUSSIONS WITH SUB-COMMITTEE AND ADVISORY
COMMITTEE
4) UNITY AND DIFFERENCES OF LIGHT AND HOW IT IS HANDLED IN THE
TOWN (POSSIBLE FUTURE RECOMMENDATIONS)
J FREY SPOKE WITH SPILLANE REGARDING THE GUIDELINES HOWEVER, MANY
ARE ON VACATION AND HE FELT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO PURSUE THIS IN
SEPTEMBER
PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY AUGUST ALL
COMMENTS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER MEETING IF POSSIBLE
OR EARLIER (10 DAYS PRIOR)
ADOPT-A-SPACE COMMITTEE:
DEVELOP THE ISLANDS AS ASSIGNED AND REVIEW AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS
IT IS SUGGESTED TO DO THE REVIEWS IN SEPTEMBER AND MAKE
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE USES AT A FUTURE MEETING
LINCOLN STREET MOUNDS - THEY ARE NOT PERMANENT AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT
IS PLANNED FOR THEM IN THE FUTURE
NEXT MEETING - SEPTEMBER 12, 1989 SELECTMAN' S MEETING ROOM - 8 PM
