1.Meeting open at 8:04AM

3.Unexpected items not reasonably anticipated in advance
a.MS reminded committee that the Select Board,based on recommendation from the
DEI Assessment Report,advises committees to invite speakers during the public
speaking portion to state how they wish to be addressed (i.e.Mr/Ms/Mrs,Mx,Dr,
or by first name,etc).
b.DB announced that there will be a Senior Management Training (SMT)on
pronouns.A member suggested this be made available in the future to a broader
group through community learning.
c.Links shared in the chat:
i.DEI Assessment Report for the Town of Lexington prepared by Tangible
Developments.The report is about the cultural and organizational practices
within the Town’s municipal organization.

LHRC members were encouraged to read the report and consider how
report suggestions can be applied by the committee.
ii.Lexington United Against Antisemitism (LUAA)will be hosting an active
bystander event on September 24,2024.More information in the link.
