1. WELCOME - Chairperson
a. Introduction - membership update. Seetha spoke to Lexington Council for Aging - they will advertise during June 7th
meeting to seek senior citizens' participation.
2. REPORTS
a. Secretary's Report
i. Approval of May minutes, Approval Motion by Jean Hart, seconded by Laurel Smith.
b. Treasurer's Report
i. Update on reimbursements, current account balance. State $7223($1500 yet to be claimed from last year's
cycle) / Local $2236 - to be updated based on Amy's input/latest ledger from Laurie
ii. Granite Forest project details available for Council members to review
iii. Update on grant money not yet claimed from 2015-16 : to be updated based on Amy's input
iv. Received $500 VOG grant/Breakthrough artist - now deposited in local account via Laurie
V. Cristina will arrange directly for Parade sign reimbursement through Laurie
vi. SEO domain name fees automatically paid
c. Grants Report
i. Received new reimbursements to be signed and processed
ii. Attendance/sign up for Grant winners performances by Council members
d. Communications Report
i. Website: www.lexartscouncil.org, Facebook & Twitter, Would like to post photos from Open Studios with
arts' permission
ii. Send to Grantee reception article again to Colonial times & Lexington Minuteman, also to Town Calendar

iii. Reminder - Bookmark review designed by Jean for Discovery Day (May 27th) & Grantee Reception
iv. All members welcome to write reviews on art events and potentially share on personal social media
accounts
3. NEW BUSINESS
a. New Initiatives
i. Feedback from Dimmock Award & Discovery Day
ii. Mark's email on creativity
iii. 2017-18 Donors & Membership strategy - Jessie's input on past initiatives
b. 2016-17 Projects
i. Artepreneurs soiree (July 12th @7pm Aloft Lexington) -confirm publicity plans, email lists, word of mouth,
posters, website form for nominations etc.Potential kickoff venue space, the ALoft, for all Lexington artists.
Jessie has offered to prepare a creative sign -in format for guests. Also discuss nominations for award box &
donations box? Finalize food plans

4. OLD BUSINESS (review)
a. PIR Update - no update
b. ArtsOffroad - not in 2017, but hoping to be in association with the 25th anniversary of Minuteman Bikeway (some
other groups are interested in this: Arlington LCC (rumour), Arlington Arts Center, Lexington Bikeways Committee.
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS
a. September 2017 - Rm 237, 7pm - Will confirm exact date in August 2017
