(Joseph's,M&L,A&B,TMSI,Dudley LoLaw). The pre bid conference was attended by
four contractors and others have been calling with questions and clarifications. There are
indications that we will receive proposals on vehicles from cutaways to the World Trans

2. The LEXPRESS logo and bus design were discussed. These two items of the marketing
program are on the fast track due to the upcoming proposal award, followed by a vehicle
order which will need to include painting specifications.Nancy Kolb solicited logo ideas
from a graphic designer and high school student with graphic design experience.Their
logo ideas,along with Lili Silvera's proposal,were presented.After considerable
discussion and debate, the committee chose Lili's LEXPRESS logo which showed
motion and fit the character of the service we are promoting.Lili will finalize the logo by
the next meeting on April 7 1999 In addition, the Selection Committee for LEXPRESS
service is expected to have a decision on the contractor/vehicle by April 2, 1999 The
specifications of the bus(size, shape)will be given to Lili so that she may complete
preliminary bus designs for consideration.Discussion of bus and logo color took place,
with bright blue and bright green considered for the main vehicle color.
3. Sara Arnold suggested wording to go with the 1999 Patriots Day theme: 'RE-
LEXPRESS:New Buses,New Depot,New Logo.Coming Soon. A request was made
for additional assistance with the parade for decorating and assisting the Seniors during
the parade.

celebrate this anniversary should be considered.Nancy Kolb is interested in any
committee members suggestions.
