Nancy Kolb reported on the status of the LEXPRESS RFP The Selection Committee is considering recommending service using the World Trans 3000. Don Graham and Nancy Kolb took a trip to Lancaster,PA to see the buses.They were impressed with the vehicle in terms of its looks,passenger accommodation,and few maintenance issues as reported by the operator.This vehicle is more expensive to run than the other proposals received, and the benefits must be weighed against the costs by both the Transportation Advisory Committee and Board of Selectmen. Some A copy of the Cost-Benefit analysis was handed out to members present and briefly discussed. The analysis will be mailed to other TAC members and also given to the Selectmen.TAC members may be asked to come to a Selectmen's meeting in which the bus selection will be discussed. 2. Sally Castleman discussed the possibility of compiling a publication to celebrate the 21st birthday of LEXPRESS next year. The `Coming of Age' book would contain pictures and vignettes about LEXPRESS solicited from the community 3. The LEXPRESS logo and bus design were discussed.These two items of the marketing program are on the fast track due to the upcoming proposal award, followed by a vehicle order which will need to include painting specifications. Lili Silvera asked for clarification on comments received from the TAC in order to finalize the logo.The bus design process has not begun yet as the bus decision is still in flux. Bright green,blue,or purple were discussed as possibilities for the main bus color. 4. The minutes of the March 17 1999 meeting was not approved since there was not a quorum present. 5.
