i. Open discussion/ Council feedback on Open Studios event last weekend - almost 300 people at LACs,
home studios 30-40 people on average; different demographic came, local residents more than out of
towners, fewer artists displaying; some feedback that open studios should be publicized; **LCA has serious
interest in making sure Open Studios is a success
Some constructive suggestions to be discussed later in the week with Open Studios board include:
- Consider paying up front fee for visiting groups of homes, alternate homes year over year
- All artists have a showing at a central location ("Affordable art fair") - Depot center as the
venue/June at Central Office
