An update was given on LEXPRESS service contracts.Nancy Kolb is concerned that Joseph's Limousine Service inability to resolve problems will affect its ability to deliver on the service contracts.Nancy Kolb will be meeting with Joseph's representatives next week. 2. The Transit Guide is nearly complete and going to the printer early next week. All ads have been sold;however,6 coupon spaces remain. They will be offered to other departments in Town Hall. 3. Bill Mix and Sally Castleman's terms on the Transportation Advisory Committee(TAC) will expire in September. Both members have expressed an interest in continuing their role on the TAC. Don Graham suggested refreshing TAC membership by requesting the resignation of Nick Santosuosso, who has not been active.Liz Andrews would also be contacted regarding her interest in participating on the TAC.The possibility of making Rebecca Rogers an official member could then be accomplished through appointment to a vacant seat.Alternatively, the charge of the TAC could be changed to allow an additional member, with that member being a high school liaison with a one year membership.A change in the charge would need to be brought to the Board of Selectmen.Don Graham and Nancy Kolb will continue to work to resolve TAC membership issues. 4. The CNG bus purchase and operating budget was discussed. The purchase cost and funding available is dependant on appropriation of federal funding and negotiations with the bus dealership. Several assumptions also are present in the operating cost estimate including the cost of fuel, amount of fuel required and vehicle maintenance costs. These assumptions are the best available information likely to be available before the buses are purchased. The possibility of seeking the assistance of Robert Haven with funding issues was discussed.Betty Eddison can contact Senator Bayern with the appropriate request. The CNG bus procurement and operation must be reviewed and approved by the Board of Selectmen before it is finalized.Nancy Kolb will prepare a briefing for the Selectmen and preview with Betty Eddison before the next TAC meeting.Presentation to the Selectmen tentatively scheduled for the September 14 Board of Selectmen's meeting. 5.
