Transportation/DPW Reorganization Update Committee reviewed letter from S.Arnold to Town Manager re ✓ the reorganization. S.Arnold and S. Castleman will meet with DPW Dir.Woodbury 3/1/96 to discuss reorg. b. Role Definition for the Transportation Coordinator discussion of the information prepared by Don Graham in ✓ connection with the inclusionary transportation policy.TAC discussed this document. B. Lucas will incorporate changes and fax to D. Graham for comments. This document will be incorporated as part of the 'vision' B. Lucas will prepare for the Town Manager. Copy of new draft enclosed. c. Vision for Lexington transportation See lb above. Lucas will send copy of 'vision' to committee members. ✓ d. COA/Chair Car Service for coming year B. Lucas is working with COA to prepare joint RFP for COA Day Care and Lexington Chair Car Transportation. Will also discuss this with Grey Nuns Day Care provider. e. Response from Youville Place to 2/7 meeting with D. Graham and B. Lucas. Lucas will write to Youville Place to ✓ concerning our desire that they keep monthly statistics on the Youville van service for use in their annual report to the Trans. Coord. Done f. Transportation News Suggestions from S. Castleman include Driver and Rider Highlights. Lucas hopes ✓ Muriel Taylor will take charge of the Lexington Transit News Muriel has agreed to take charge of the Newsletter 3 New Business a Hartwell Avenue TMA Update from B. Lucas Proposal revision sent 3/8/96 ✓ b. Proposed rezoning on Waltham Street. Proposed response from B. Lucas approved at meeting ✓ B. Lucas and Don Graham met with Waltham St developer on March 13. They are drafting a response to the Alternative Transportation Policy to send to the Planning Board. 4 Emery Park/Depot Square A meeting of interested parties will occur on March 13. Time and location to be ✓ announced. TAC will need to appoint a spokesperson to present the LEXPRESS view. Mark calendars. B. Mix volunteered to serve as spokesperson. S.Arnold encouraged all TAC members to attend 5 Miscellaneous Patriot's Day information passed out to committee. Will be taken up at March meeting. NEXT TAC MEETING: MARCH 20, ROOM 111,7:45 p.m. B. Lucas will be out of town and will arrive late.
