1 Approval of June 26, 1996 Minutes
2 Presentation by Ivor Morgan regarding his suggestions on Transportation in Lexington
11 TAC members and visitors introduced themselves and outlined their backgrounds in transportation. I
I. Morgan discussed his background in airline transportation, his concern that Emery Park be retained as I
green space,and his view that Lexpress does not necessarily have to be run as a"hub and spoke" system. I
He also expressed an interest in knowing more about the number of transfers between Lexpress buses I
and the origins and destinations of transfers. B. Lucas offered to work with I. Morgan and some I
of his students to help design and administer a survey of Lexpress riders.Several TAC members expressed I
a continued interest In learning about any concrete suggestions Mr.Morgan may have to improve
the operation of Lexpress in Lexington.
3 Lexinaton Transit Guide Suggestions from TAC for cover message and artwork.
Following the TAC meeting,S.Arnold provided ideas for the cover and artwork that are being used on the
Transit Guide. 1

4 I Report of BOS meeting re scheduleshoute changes
B. Lucas indicated that the Board of Selectmen had approved the suggested changes to routes 5,4 and 2.
These changes will take affect with the new Transit Guides on Sept.3, 1996.
