Subject: Minutes, TAC Meeting, March 14, 1994
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by chairman Sara Arnold. The committee
discussed information items from several committee✓jand considered two items on the
agenda.
Fred Rosenberg presented a brief update on the town budget. Sara Arnold discussed the
meeting she and Barbara Lucas had with Selectman Betty Eddison.
Agenda Item 1 Town Meeting handout
The committee asked Barbara Lucas to prepare a handout for town meeting including such
information as the FY95 budget request, ridership statistics for the LEXPRESS and chair
car services and the most recent information available from the MBTA on comparisons of
town bus systems.
Agenda Item 2. Requests for Service/Possible Route Changes
Barbara Lucas presented two requests for service and several potential route changes for
the committee's consideration. Requests for service were received from Lexington Ridge
and from Locke Village and would require route changes. Potential changes discussed
included.
1. Changing route 5 to pass Locke Village along Middlesex Highway on
the East side of the street.
2. Changing Route 2 to extend service to Lexington Ridge
3. Changing Route 2 to run on Kendall Road between Worthen and
Marrett
4 Changing routes 3 & 4 so that the current route 4 would,26n on the
half hour and the current route 3 would run on the hour
No decisions were made by the committee. The committee agreed that committee
recommendations on route changes should be made by the end of April to allow public
hearings and decisions by the Board of Selectmen by the end of May
