1 Route changes Routes need to reviewed, but no major changes can be
made before fall 1994 We need to get input from the Ad Hoc
{ Transportation Committee (ACT) , review all the available data, hold
public hearings , and make recommendations to the Selectmen by the spring
{ of 1994 so that the changes can be made on the fall 1994 map
We can probably make one small change in 1993--have the 7 30 a m Route
5 go to the Mall Road to connect with the MBTA #350 Normally the 350
goes to Jordan Marsh, which is close to where LEXPRESS stops , but at
7 30 a m it does not There is probably time to change the LEXPRESS
stop on that run, but we may not be able to stop at both places
Barbara will talk to the drivers about the passengers on that run and
see if either changing the stop or making both stops seem workable If
so, we will put it on the map
2 LEXPRESS Flyer Themes that were suggested LEXPRESS--a Lexington
Tradition; We re on a Roll; Let LEXPRESS Take You There Decided to use
the LEXPRESS letters to reflect LEXPRESS themes, as follows
L exington s

Sally will contact Chuck Stevens to see if we can get some tickets for
a raffle
{ 3 Other Issues In January the new contractor starts , which means
there will no longer be radio communication between the Lexington and
Burlington systems Now we have passengers who transfer between the
systems at the Burlington Mall , which requires walking through the Mall
and one driver lets the other one know Ideas a beeper or have one
transfer point Barbara will pursue with Burlington
Sept 23 is Lexington s Business Expo at Cary Hall from 3 to 8 p m
Barbara can cover 3-5 p m We need volunteers for later Bill is out
of town Carol , Fred, Sally and Sara are all possibilities Last year
we shared the table with Share-A-Ride
The Town may change some of the money counting procedures which could
mean the LEXPRESS office will no longer count the money, and perhaps no
longer sell the passes If Barbara sees any way to reduce the
bookkeeping procedures used, the Committee is in support of it
