I - Marketing
Sally reviewed marketing ideas that will be done if possible
- a ceremony with the Selectmen when the buses arrive in September
- use of glossy paper on the flyer that goes around the map
- a one month pass in September - $5
- map to feature the "new" Lexpress
- flyer will call the pass "A Bigger Bargain Than Ever"
Other ideas that should be pursued
- Selling passes at different places ie library, COA, Greeley Village,
Hayden, and junior and senior highs
- Drawings for prizes - using names of passholders in the drawing Joyce
and Lance will speak to travel agents about possible prizes
- Would Carpenter bus put an ad in the paper for their bus?
- Newspaper articles and ads Teasers small white on black ads; Articles
about passengers who use the buses
- Need a picture of Share-a-Ride in the paper
II - Map for September 1983
- Add clocks to the routes
- Make border wider - solid black
- Hire someone to put the map together
III - Flyer for September 1983
- To be put together by Sara, Sally and LtL.a-
VI - Potential Conflict of Interest
- Cambridge Septematics has received the contract for the MBTA to review
all transportation in the Alewife Station area
- Lance works for Cambridge Septematics
- Sara will speak to Bob Hutchinson about thus
