1 The n.inu.t.es cf the previous meeting were accepted with

2 At new chairman of the Commission , Eau' Roberts shared
some general thoughts on, hie new role and how it relates to the
airport He re•Mli ee he i:, relatively new ctl the Commission, as
.omparecl ti the ct,her members He said he is responsible to the
Town of Tone 1. 1 and that he want~ a ;.afe airport with limited
noise levels and that Han.•com should be maintained as a General
Aviation airport He noted that. Massport is a quasi-public
organizaticn and that. the Commission which is made up of 10 town
members and 6 members from the aviation community , has an advisory
capacity
Mr Rcberts discussed two major goals for the coming year
-The installation of Noise Monitoring Equipment which should
prove helpful in providing information on noise generated at
Hanscom
-Nighttime noise , which is of concern to the communities and
should be of concern to the users as well
In closing , Rcberte commented that the meetings are open to
the putlic and discussicns and deliberations should be confined to
the issues fcr resolution in an orderly manner
