The proclamation for neurodiversity celebration week,submitted to LHRC by the
neurodiversity subcommittee from SHAC,the Student Health Advisory Council Committee Council at
Lexington Public Schools,was met with unanimous support.A group of students from Lexington High
School’s Turing Club recently presented at a SHAC meeting.Support for the proclamation was approved
by unanimous vote.
New Members were welcomed:Courtney Apgar and Rachel Levy
Letter of support for Lexington United Against Antisemitism (LUAA)grant application-
Committee members read the letter and approved the letter of support for LUAA’s grant application.
The letter is attached.

As a prelude to Lexington’s 250th anniversary celebration,and to kick off May AAPI
Heritage Month,the Lexington Council for the Arts (LCA)and Chinese American
Association Lexington (CAAL)are inviting residents to submit writings and paintings
depicting the immigrant experience –an important part of the town’s history.This initiative
celebrates diversity,equity,and inclusion by providing a platform for powerful stories of
courage,resilience,and pursuing the American dream

ii.Discovery Day -attendance,LHRC members invited to spend time at the
Lexington GOP table
