20/20 Vision Committee Meeting
August 16, 2017

Members Present: Peter Enrich, Fernando Quezada, Kathleen Lenihan, Dan Krupka, Joe Pato
Members Absent: Ginna Johnson, Bhumip Khasnabish, Peter Lee, Alan Wrigley, Andrew Dixon, Carrol
Ann Bottino, Mark Manassas, Margaret Coppe

Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 7:49 a.m.
The meeting started with the committee deciding various points regarding the Town -Wide wide survey.
These points included:
• Who is responsible for it?
• Whose project does report fall up under?
• Who should be given credit?
The Committee talked about adding an acknowledgements sections to the report. The committee
discussed
• Where should the acknowledgements section will be?
• Who should be a part of the special mentions?
• How to format the acknowledgements sections?
Marian began to talk about the developing a presentation for the joint committee meeting on
September 22nd
She discussed what content should be in the 1 hour presentation for the joint meeting
• Identifying a target audience for the presentation.
• Recognizing the challenges for the Town.
• Showing how important this report is in regards to the growth of the community.
• Identifying which capital expenditures are important to the citizens.
• Identifying issues that are becoming issues to the community.
The committee discussed a press release for the report. In the press release, the committee wanted to
discuss
• Issues regarding Lexington
• Keys point of the report
• Identify the target audience for the report.
• Set a date for publication.
Next, the group discussed how to overcome issues with meeting quorum to approve the report for
distribution.
The methods included
• Getting members to vote by phone.
• Having the vote take place on September 22nd meeting.
• Getting to Board of Selectmen to approve the report in the preceding meeting after September
22nd
The meeting was concluded on 8:57 a.m.
