SELECTMEN'S MEETING
EXECUTIVE SESSION
April 16, 1996
PRESENT. Selectmen: Chairman McSweeney,Mr. Dailey,Mr Busa, Mrs Eddison, Mr.
White, Town Manager and Ms. Smith, Executive Clerk
Land Acquisition
Mr Dailey reported on the status of the Augusta land acquisition. He recommended that the
Board offer $150,000 for the property plus purchasing the Spencer Street lot at $125,000 He
indicated that LexHAB had expressed an interest in purchasing the Spencer Street property
Mr. Dailey also reviewed the status of the Exxon property and indicated that the Town should be
concerned about not accepting liability of any environmental clean up on the property.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 11.40 p.m.
