Present: Darlene Adams, Martin Quinlan, Bob Harris, Barbara Barrows
Next Meeting
Friday, June 8 at 1:30 p.m.
Assignments
Jill Manning —investigate 2020 vision materials and determine relevance to ADA, referred committee to
survey results.
Darlene Adams—look into how CVS might be made accessible; Bob Harris suggested switchback
ramping.
Pat Gardiner—determine AAB relevance to bathrooms at Wilson Farms
Barbara Barrows and Steve Baran—review curb cuts; report on Buckman Tavern and Chamber of
Commerce Building; signage in front of Town Hall and inside side and rear entrances;
report on Liberty Mutual access from sidewalk; designation of Steve's position in town
directory; height of signs at Wilson Farm; 44 Waltham St. (Tropeano) parking; braille
signage in elevator.
Old business
Recreation: meeting with Recreation Committee and answer to meeting with them about reduction in
fees; report by Pam Varrin on accessibility at Old Res.
Day care building —railing•in hallway and grab bars.
New business
Lexpress transportation — Steve met with new coordinator
Pay as you throw—Matt Zedeck invited to next meeting of Enablement Committee.
Buildings needing surveys—Hayden Recreation Centre; Munroe Center for the Arts.
