Curb cuts - some are being installed in relation to Enablement Committee priorities
Hearing accessibility - TTY - Steve Baran is submitting requisition; funds available for
installation in his office
Transitional plan - Town, Schools - Emily Silberberg
Budget for ADA requirements - $1,500 to be requested annually as part of Public
Works budget
Tom McKinnon - Lexington Housing Authority - Steve Baran and Bob Harris have been
working with Tom McKinnon to prepare letter to Housing Authority setting forth needs;
also working with Tom re scooter
Title Ill - Place of Public Accommodation
Cary Library - to be invited to March meeting so that we may support their plans which
are in conformity with ADA requirements
Handicapped parking - Emily Silberberg - has toured with Bigelow Moore and is
drafting memorandum to go to Public Works
Business establishments' accessibility to blind people
Bruegger's Bagel Bakery - Rick Safford - call to Myra Berloff
Youville Place - Martin Quinlan - guest invited

Post boxes for handicapped patrons - Enablement Committee has written to Postal
