TOWN OF LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS
PERMANENT BUILDING COMMITTEE
Minutes of Tuesday October 18. 2005 meeting at the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town
Hall.
Permanent Building Committee Co-Chairman, Philip Poinelli called the meeting to order
at 7 11 p.m. with other PBC members,Jon Himmel, Richard Perry,Peter Johnson, Mary
Lou Touart,Bill Kennedy and Bruce Creager present. Also in attendance were the
Owner's Representative, Bill Kealy, Project Manager and Carl Oldenburg, Project
Coordinator. Also present from the Town of Lexington James McLaughlin,Purchasing
Officer,Bill Hadley,Director of Public Works and Wayne Brooks, Operations Manager.
1 The Committee met to review the architectural RFO's for the DPW facility
2. Following a discussion on each of the RFO's submitted by eleven architectural firms
the PBC eliminated seven with a remainder of four companies to interview
3. The PBC gave their views on the Questions to be asked and the issues to be addressed
during the interview process.
4 Interviews are scheduled for Thursday October 27 at the Selectmen's Meeting Room
at 6 n.m. Committee members are asked to be present and ready at 5.45 n.m.
5.A motion was made by P Poinelli to end the meeting at 9.16 p.m. and seconded by P
Johnson with all in favor to adjourn.
