PERMANENT BUILDING COMMITTEE
Minutes of Tuesday November 12. 2002 meeting in the construction trailer on the high school
grounds.
The meeting was called to order at 7.05 p.m. by PBC Chairman Kelley with other PBC members
Creager(also Design Advisory Committee member),Himmel, Johnson, Oldenburg (also DAC)
Poinelli, Sperandio and Touart present. Also attending was former PBC member appointed by the
School Committee Nick Cannalonga, who had served until recently
The primary purpose of the meeting was to approve minutes. The committee also had its picture
taken for the annual Town Report. Announcements and other discussion. A tour of the Hastings
School in Westborough that has been temperature-controlled by a geothermal heat pump system
since 1996, will take place Friday morning, November 15 Noted that a proposal and work plan for
investigation of feasibility by a geohydrologist is needed for the Harrington School.
Minutes annroval included all of 2002 and ten 2001 meetings, with only those prior to 2002 devoted
exclusively to the library project to be approved. The process was as follows:
Minutes of November 5 2002 the preceding meeting, were VOTED approved as amended upon
motion by Poinelli seconded by Kelley
All other minutes were marked up and signed (all but a few) by various committee members and
Cannalonga(for meetings he had attended). As moved by Poinelli and seconded by Johnson, the
committee VOTED to approve all of the following as amended, except where noted:

The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 p.m. until Tuesday November 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fiske
School Cafeteria.
