M�miel Taylor . , Monica Chana , Jack Eddison I (Selectmen liaison) , Donna Hooper (Human Service Committee tiaison) . Linda Crew Vine and Cathv Poirier (staff ) , Absent : Jim Fenske , Barbara Rubin , and Ed C�rant Meetina was called to ordar hv Chairoerson � Dorothv Boaaia at 4 : 40 o .m. Remarks : Dorothv announced her retirement from the COA Board which was followed bv remarks of thanks and aooreciation for her leadershin and dedication since 1980 . Beth Klarman also announced th�t she will leave the board , Thanks was given to her for her hard work on � the Senior Health Monitor Proqram. Kevin Q. oraised the enerpv and leadershia of both Dorothy and Beth , Dorothv will be reblace hv three Co-Chairs ; K.evin Qrimes . Harriet Onello , and Ed c�rant , Minutes of the Aaril meetina were reviewed and the foliowina comments made : Linda reported that barkina issues had been addressed with rogard to Muzzav residents and the suaaestions of � the board were favorabiv received bv the Trustees . Attempts will be made to develoo a closer liaison bet.ween the FCOA and the Hum2n SPrvice Committee , Linda , Jackie Davison , and Jim Fenske will serve on a committee to develop this relationshia . It was recommended and voted to delete the oortion of the minutes reaardin4 the Food Pantry report since it was not on the agenda for the April meetinq . 1 �� '��� r•�� i . Charles Roth of Newton will reolace her as a SHI'NE counselor , K9vin Qrimes suggested a SHINE presentation for the eoard . -Nutrition Site Manaaer : Rhoda Presti has been hired to replace Pe4 Stimmell who resianed due tfl illness . Beth Klarman noted that Rhoda will be a aood cat� lvst for oositive socializina , -Board member : Bob Cushman mav .ioin the board in the fall , he has resianed from the Human Service Committee , 2 , �exinqton Savinas Bank - offerina proaram to heln �' , elders with finances .
