The Lions Club has cancelled plans to hold the Glaucoma Clinic at the Center, much to the disappointment of the Board. The reason given was that Peter DiMatteo reported to the Lions Club that everyone had to be out of the building by 3 00, which is NOT so It is felt that it is important to have a meeting with the Condo Trustees prior to their Annual Meeting regarding amendments and to share infor- mation regarding problems There appears to be tension between private owners and public use The Condo owners, represented by Mr. Peter DiMatteo seem to envision the C 0 A. as the Town of Lexington. It should be understood that we run our own programs at the Center and that they are positive and cleared The Committee moved to make plans to replace Ed Grant with a new person Mr. Grant made a correction on the last paragraph of April 7th Minutes • "Mr DiMatteo, Mr. Kelley and Jean Gaudet encouraged the C.O.A. Board tosupport their endeavor to persuade the Town to address all major problems in the Muzzey building. Mr. DiMatteo & Mr. Kelley felt that the C.O A Board should postpone the Warrant Article dealing with the Senior Center Heat until all the Muzzey building problems could be studied Trustee Ed ,Grant noted his dissent to the proposed action by Mr. DiMatteo and Mr. Kelley. A decision was made not to join with them. " 4 40 Formal Meeting began (quorum present) Minutes of the May Meeting were read and accepted.
