Minutes of Meeting of March 5, 2024
A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee(DAC)was held in the Parker Room in the Town Office Building at
7:30 pm on March 5,2024.
Members Present: Tim Lee, Chris Johns,Ian Adamson, Steve Vincent,Hema Bhatt
Members Absent: Elsie Xu,Elisa Kim
Others Present: Julie Krakaer-Moore,Zoning Administrator
The Committee reviewed,discussed and acted on the following item(s):
1.Introductions—Each Committee member introduced themselves to the Committee.
2. There was a general discussion about the status of the new Lexington High School project.
-Tim Lee noted that he has been attending the focus group meetings which are intended to gather as much
information as possible as part of the initial sate required process. This will lead to the development of
options and the feasibility study phase.
3.New Article 34 zoning change
-Julie Krakauer-Moore explained the zoning changes to the Committee and how this will impact
development in this new district. Julie noted that there are some new projects on the boards that will be
before the planning committee that the DAC may be interested in seeing and have input on.
-The Committee discussed how we could better serve the Town by reviewing these projects.It was suggested
that we engage our liaisons for guidance.
