Permanent Building Committee Chairman,Phil Poinelli called the meeting to order at 7:13 p.m.with other PBC members Eric Brown,Dick Perry, and Bruce Creager present. Also in attendance the Owner's Representative,Bill Kealy,Project Manager,Gary Kaczmarek, Clerk of Works and Bill Hartigan, Director of Facilities,and from the School Committee,Olga Guttag and Tom Giffiths. 1. The Project Manager asked the Committee to�y CTA's Payment Requisition No.20 in the amount of $537.088.00 for the Fiske School.A discussion proceeded concerning the amount of retainage on the playground.B.Creager made the motion to approve payment of Requisition No.20 for an amount adjusted downward from$537,088.00 to reflect the balance to fmish the playground and/or cross- referenced with the monetized punchlist.E.Brown seconded the motion and all were in favor to pay the requisition contingent upon the amendments being made. I 2.A discussion on Beneficial Occupancv of the Fiske ensued.The PBC said that all systems must be working before there is Beneficial Occupancy.They also unauimously agreed that the Project Manager would be the person to officially sign-off on the project. 3. The Commissionm�gent continues to look into the problems occurring at the Fiske wells.CTA is � waiting for sketches and a directive on the overtlowing wells. 4:$85,000 is left in the budget to remedy nroblems with the wells. 5. The Project Manager broug,ht CTA's Change Order No. 18 for the sum of$28.157.14 to the table for a roval. B.Creager made the motion to approve payment of Change Order No. 18 in the amount of $28,15714.The motion was seconded by D.Perry and all were in favor to approve payment of the CO. 6. The Project Manager invited the PBC and others interested to tour the Fiske School on Saturday, January 13,at 10 a.m. 7.Newly built steps into an old pathway at Fiske diminishes the accessibilitv of a path.Two accessible entrances e�st to the school, one from Adams Street and one from Colony Road.A ramp with railings next to the steps is being considered.It was suggested Yhat E.Brown meet with the Sidewalk Committee to discuss the issues and fmd a solution acceptable to all. 8.
