PERMANENT BUILDING COMMITTEE
Minutes of June 8 1989 committee meeting in Room G-15 , Town Office
Building, as approved August 10 , 1989
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Kennedy at approximately
7 30 p m , with other committee members Edson Scanlon, Smith (who left
early) , and Touart present Also attending were staff Coscia and
Maclnnes and consultant Rowlands
Cary Library VOTED to pay invoice in the amount of $75 from Davies &
Bibbins for architectural work on library renovations
TAMS Claim Kennedy notified the committee that TAMS has accepted the
Town ' s settlement offer
Minutes of April 12 1989 meeting were APPROVED as amended
Minutes of May 11 1989 meeting were APPROVED as amended
Report of Enablement Committee Meeting TAMS reviewed chairlift
operation and rationale for its installation with the Enablement
Committee Also discussed was removal of six seats from the auditorium
without conclusion
Work Progress The PBC is still concerned that errors and omissions
continue to show up on Fiske and Diamond drawings , causing extra costs
Chartwell is documenting this
Contingency Fund Update Uncommitted remaining amount is $20, 260
Payment Schedule compiled by Chartwell APPROVED with the exception of
TAMS claim invoice of $116 000
July Meeting was changed to July 6 (and then subsequently cancelled)
