Brickwork must be repainted, especially above each lintel over each window Clarke. Repairs to folding walls are very expensive and have been omitted High School shop dust collection system must be expanded Also additional electrical work may have to be done Bridoe/Bowman receptacles have been omitted It has been impossible to date to get a repairman for the folding classroom walls. Replacement would be expensive ($38,000 to $40,000) Repair of the folding walls is in the contract VOTED - to leave the Fiske library at 2400 square feet (the smaller version) ; - for use of space in the power shop for the custodians' storage; - to replace ceiling tiles missing (may be in Package II) - to add items 4 a) , b) c) , and d) on architects recommended list (high school field house floors, backstops and lighting school entrance portico and miscellaneous electrical and architectural items; - to add brick pointing at Fiske - to remove/replace the urinals at Estabrook PBC Minutes 10/13/87 p 2 The total cost of the above voted additions will be about $300,000, reducing the design contingency to $117 000 Also VOTED to add recommended possible alternates a) rear doors at Diamond; b) classroom painting at Fiske; c) exterior doors at Fiske and d) security lights at Estabrook and Diamond (see architects recommended list) These will be added to the contract if money is found.
