Spent a lot of time delving intoSocial Security and Welfare
qualifications for two different clients
Spent more time talking to Board of Assessors of Lexington
trying to find tax relief for the same people
Want to put small article regarding tax relief in NL
Looked up Nursing Home Information. Put our name on a mailing
list at Women' s Educational Union for an up-to-date NH book
which will come out in November
Worked on Newsletter
Worked on MBTA Bus Routes and brought map up to date
Discounts are coming in
Congregate meals already to start in September
Elda-Care sent info regarding price for meals to be brought
by them to a central place and delivered by volunteers But
they would have to have 25 a day at a rate of $3 50 per meal
This seems beyond our reach at the moment
Received a letter of thanks from Ann Gelinas regarding the help
given her Mother We have her permission to put the letter
in the Brickbats and Bouquets of the Lex MM
Could we have a plea put into the paper for more interested
people to call the office with ideas concening new transportation?

Cora Pierce will be 100 Dec. 25 I called Mary Milley She
Checked with Mr O'Connell, who said there was a fund for
special gifts like this We could buy her a Town plate or
something and give it to her Picture taken for MM?
