This meeting wa helm to plan the goals for the Human
gervices Committee for the forthcoming year
The length of long term goals was discussed with a three verar
term fa •orad by those present.
Long Tern goal Discussion
It was suggested that one goal be tied to the census by
keeping track of changing demographics on an ongcinq basic
Donnie brought up the issue of looking at the overall , grand
scae delivery of human services= by at town function which
overlap to provide human services This woul =d on.ahle us to
act as a catalyst to integrate services Some of the ongoing

recommended looking at these according to their component of
emotional , financial , and physical. surpor-ts
Ik was agreed that the long term goal should be twofold to
emcompass the areas discussed (See attached Human Services

Lona_ Term Goals •
These goals are threefold.
1 ) Needs assesment and cant nuing eraminai-ion of the
demographics of the town
2) Survey of town agencies and services to determine how
those needs are met , where town struc" ares and services
overlap , and where there are gaps
3) The Human Services Committee will regularly advise
the Selectmen on changes in policy and program direction
that are needed to meet the town s needs based on
updated assesments

Continue present criteria for administering fund
