Chao; Bea Phear New Members The subcommittee of Roberta, Stan, and Marion had interviewed 12 possible cnadidates for committee membership They recommend Jan Eustice as the person to fill the immediate vacancy There was discussion to be held later about the four other positions to be filled in the fall Roberta will telephone Bea Visiting Nurses Judy and Leonora recommed partial funding of the VNCH proprosal by the Trustees The draft letter was approved as written, with a request from the trustees of $2,800 Stan reported that the Board of Health also supported the program, but with less enthusiasm, since there was no evaluation data yet available There was discussion about how much money to ask of the trustees It was felt that to ask more than $2,800 would reduce the flexibility of future requests by depleting the teserve a great deal for one proposal, would have a possible negative effect on the committee's credibility with the trustees, and might not really be necessary as VNCH had other possible resources Bea had suggested UNited Way and Honeywell to them, and Judy has suggested local service clubs Coordinator's Report Bea distributed her report in writing, since she had to leave early for the TMMA meeting It is enclosed for those not in attendance Next Meeting Monday, May 13 at 6 00 p.m (bring your own sandwich; coffee & soda available here) Monday, June 3, at 7 30 p.m. (Richard Weiss as guest) Respectfully submitted, r Beatrice Phear ✓'` 1 v April 24, 1985 _ PENDING 1.
