TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE
June 13, 1968
PRESENT Chmn Barnes, Vice Chmn Gaughan, Mrs Litchfield, Mrs Severance,
Mr Lord, Mr Belcastro, Mr Sperduto, Mr Lewis, and Mrs Hall
GUESTS Wives and husbands of committee members for the annual cookout at
the Halls'
PATRIOTS DAY There was a brief meeting held during the evening After
figuring our bills outstanding and anticipated bills for the remaining
holidays for 1968, it was determined that this committee is solvant and
capable of paying all bills
Mrs Litchfield will contact Mr Haskell of Concord's Public Ceremonies
and Celebrations Committee to ask the disposition of the bill for luncheon
at Anthony's Restaurant by the Fort Devens men Concord and Lexington had
agreed to split this bill If Mrs Litchfield has no results in her contact
with Mr Haskell , she will write to Concord's Board of Selectmen about this
matter
The next TCC meeting will take place on Thursday evening, September 5th,
at 8PM in the Selectmen's Office, Town Office Building
Mrs Litchfield will reserve the Selectmen's Office for that Thursday and
successive Thursdays into the Fall
Have a happy summer, and we' ll look forward to seeing you all next Fall !
