TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE
November 9, 1967
PRESENT Vice Chmn. Gaughan, Mr Broderick, Mrs Litchfield,
Mr Belcastro, Mr Lord and Mrs Hall.
VETERANS DAY Last minute details were gone over for the parade
and Green program for Saturday's Veterans Day celebration.
PATRIOTS DAY A letter was received from the Precisionettes from
the University of Massachusetts, asking that they be allowed to
march in the Patriots Day parade They are a women's drill team,
sponsored by the Army ROTC Department, and number about thirty-
seven people.
Mrs. Litchfield will write to them saying they will hear from us
after a Chief Marshal has been chosen, probably after the first
of the year (1968).
MISCELLANEOUS Mrs Litchfield will reserve the Selectmen's
Office for our TCC meetings beginning with the first Thursday
evening after January 1st, 1968, and for every Thursday evening
thereafter up to Patriots Day
The Pro-Vietnam Rally organized by two High School Seniors will
take place on Sunday afternoon, November 12th, at ls3 pm.
Our next TCC meeting will be on Thursday, November 16th at 8 pm
in the Selectmen's Office.
