He has asked each of the Lexington Veterans' groups to send a representative to be a part of his parade staff (Aides). Mr Sisk asked if a car or two would be allowed for veterans unable to march, and he was assured this was most agreeable Mrs Litchfield will ask two members of the Lexington clergy to take part in the Green ceremonies in conjunction with the invocation and benediction. Mrs Litchfield will check with the National Guard to see how many men are marching. Mrs Severance reported that the Girl Scout's will likewise be marching. We will attempt to tie up the loose ends for Veterans Day at our next meeting, Thursday, November 2nd, same time and location. UNITLD NATIONS DAY The ceremony on the Green went very well. The invocation by Rev. Father Martin U. McCabe of Sacred Heart Church, and the benediction by Rev Dr. Stanley S. Harakas of the Greek Orthodox Church were particularly meaningful. Mrs. Litchfield will send a note of appreciation to Anthony Fisher, a High School student, who was the bugler at the Flag-Raising ceremony.
