Mr. Ward from the Lexington Minute Men asked if it wa. possible for the
1 Minute Men to he at the head of the afternoon parade The committee felt
it was not feasible this year a. it is too late in the year to alter the
parade order. The parade order has already been pre-determined This is
one of the den:-Ions made by the Chief Marshal, and the committee accepts
the Chief Mar <hal' decision. It was suggested to Mr. Ward that the Minute
Men meet with the TCC next Fall and again bring up their request at a
Sugger•tione Meeting of TOO.
Mr. Ward was informed that the meeting of Revere and Dawe at the Minute Man
Statue at 1 pm on April 19th is not a matter under the jurisdiction of the
TCC. We suggested he contact either the Selectmen's office or, speak with
Chief Corr.
Mr. Ward said the Minute Men were considering putting on a review around
noontime on the Green prior to the arrival of Revere and Dawes. This idea
met unanimous approval by the TOO. Mr. Ward was asked to contact
Mrrs. Severance when their plans were firmed up, so that she could take
care of the publicity.
