Barnet, Mrs. Litchfield, Mr. Lord, Mr Sperduto, Mr Belcastro, Mr. Broderick, Chief Marshal Brenchick and Mrs. Hall ITTSITOR Dr, Clifford Hunt PATRIOTS DAY Dr. Hunt •uggested we omit the antique cars from this year's afternoon parade. The owners of these cars didn't like the long wait in East Lexington, nor the van in the parade before they came into view, nor the people climbing over the. r expensive cars He suggested we see if the public wants thr antique car, hack, and if they do want them hack, it might be a good idea to label each car as to it make and year for the public's information. Also, to limit the number of car , and bring out the cream of the crop, it might he feasible to pay one club to come with its hest pieces The committee agreed with Dr, Hunt, and. we will omit the car this year. ''mPRESPONDENCE The following have accepted our invitations to participate in the afternoon parade The Gloucester High School Band The Clan MacPherson Bagpipe Band. Lexington's Historical Society's Antique Fire Engine Hayden Fifers and. Drummer= Hayden Twirlers The following dignitaries will be our guests for the day Col. and Mrs. Dittman, Hanscom Field, Bedford _ Commandant and. Mrs Means Johnston, Jr , First Naval District. Major Gen. Joseph Ambrose, Adj. Gen. of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Gen. and Mrs. O'Neill , Hanscom Field, Bedford Col. and Mrs. Tong, Hanscom Field, Bedford Mr Johnson, Belfry Club President, assures us we will have the Club for the reception after the afternoon parade, Mr. Brenchick has asked Mr. Corydon ,^yman to he his Chief of Staff. Mr. Brenchick will have the remainder of his parade staff firmed up by our next meeting. Next week, March 16, will he the Float participants' meeti.ng, same time, same location. 300 Mrs, Litchfield will invite the Lexington Police Worents As,;ociati.on to march in the afternoon parade.
