Hall Chief Marshal and Mrs Brenchink were present, VISITORS About, twenty-five interested people attended the movie- of last April 19th shown i-n Fstabrook Halal at A pm. Mr Dougl s Maxner also attended. PAI-TROTS DAY The movies, taken by Air Force personnel from Hanscom Base, were enjoyed by' all who attended. The parade sequence was a hit, out of Tine, and the "panning" we..; blurry, but there were some excellent shots of life in Lexington on April 19th A 'hort busine=ss meeting followed the movir,s The following husine«s was accomplished Mr. Lawrence Stone will he the bugler at the sunrise service on the Green. The check 1.i -t was gon, over, and the committee member were- reminded of their duties Mx _. Litchfield will bring a current supply list of the atm -hands to the next meeting. Mrs Litchfi ld will invite the Grotto Oriental Band to march in the afternoon parade. Jhe will alio invite the military dignitaries to he our guest on April. 19th Mr. Maxner discussed the progress of the Spirit of a76 He's set on -- - __ drummers, and is now looking for a fifer.. The committee is alerted to he on the lookout for a fifer. Mr. Maxner will audition fifers and make the final decision of choice, Mr Brenchick received a letter from the Lexington Minute Men a, king that they lead the afternoon parade.. The committee took a dim view of this reque t, as It feels protocol calls for the Military to lead the par•ide, Phe Minute Men do lead our sunrise parade, as they should, since itis a Town parade. The Minute Men also a ;Iced that their leaders be present and receive the document from Paul Revere and John Dewe( at the 't tue on the Green at 1 pm. They used to be in attendance at thi ceremony but had to give it up because of their scheduled luncheon 296 r m,c . Hall reports tho luncheon arrangement seem in the process at the Battle Green Motel We will have the di.ni.ngrnom to nur ;r1.ve , with a rinsed bar. The choice of menu will be forthcoming.
