PATRIOTS DAY The parade route was di Tussed, and it was agreed last year's route to the left of the Minute Man Statue (in the afternoon parade) going straight down Massachusetts Avenue was excel] )nt. This route will be repeated this year. The sunrise parade will take its usual route, i.e Massachusetts Avenue to Bedford Street to Harrington Road and a left face onto the Green. It was agreed we had far too many antique cars in the afternoon parade, some of which -broke down, holding up the 5th division. There were sixty- four of them according to Mr Fitzgerald Their cumbers must he limited. The fnllr.ing group, have accepted our invitation to part.tt.ipate in the afternoon parade Fitchburg High School Band Reading High Schnol Band ROT( Senior Division at Northeastern University - the Band and Counter-Guerilla Group A parade theme has been chosen and is as follows " PEACE - LIBERTY - INDEPENDENCE - THEIR GLORIOUS REWARD. " -- Yrs Litchfield will, invite all military dignitarie this week. She and Mrc Hall will check into the luncheon situation for April. 19th at the Battle Green Inn, and they will, report to this committee next week.
