PATRIOTS DAY Float applications must be in by March 16th. And next week is
the deadline for a theme for this year's celebration. Each TCC member should
bring in at least one idea,
Mr Gaughan reported that the films taken by the Air Force boys
last year on Patriots Day are in the process of being edited, and will be
shown for approval on February 6th in the late afternoon Any on the com-
mittee are welcome to attend this showing The movies will be shown in
Fstabrook gall to all interested parade personnel on February 16th
Mrs. Litchfield will reserve F-tabrook Hall for this program. Frank Holahan
will donate the use of a 16 iron projector for the evening
When the Police Department meets with us, we will bring up the
problem of peonle crowding floats on the parade route
Boston University's Pershing Rifle• , Scabbard and Blade, ROTC Band
and Majorettes will march in our afternoon parade They number in the
seventies
Mr. Hill. reported that the Rotary. Club will again have its Pancake
Breakfast on April 19th. He will. ask if the Rotarians will get up a group
and march in the afternoon parade The Rotarians, according to Mr. Hill,
will not enter a float
Mr. Holahan reported that the Knights of Columbus will try to have
a float and a few marchers in the afternoon parade. Also, he hopes the
Squires will. march. They number about twenty-.five.
Mr. Garrity reported that the Elks will enter a float and possibly
some marchers in the afternoon parade,
Mr. Richard Masters of the Lexington Ski Club report they may
enter a float in the afternoon parade.

The Youth of Lexington will send representatives to meet with this committee
on January 26th. The veteranr Groups will meet with us on the same evening
